Holiday

So another 2 weeks have gone by.  How time flies…

Unfortunately not much has been done in the last 2 weeks, as we have been away on holiday…camping.

We camped at the Addo National Park outside Port Elizabeth and had a wonderful break.  On various game drives, we were able to see Elephants, Kudu, Rooi Hartebees, Warthogs, Lions, and many more wild animals in their own environment.

Now, nice and relaxed, it is time to get back to work.  My dad is back into scanning images of the stamps, my mom is back into doing research on everything stamps, and I am back into the routine of vectorising the images and uploading the same to the website.

And still we are coming across challenges, in this case, duplication of work, i.e. We find a stamp in an album, then do
everything needed to get it onto the website, then a week later we find the same stamp in another album, not realising we have already uploaded this, so we doing all the same work to get the stamp on to the website, only to realise that the stamp is already there…lol…a new plan is needed, i.e. a text document to inventory the stamps that have already been scanned, to prevent the duplicate work in future.
