Inhambane was a district of Mocambique which issued its own stamps from 1895 to 1920. The first stamps of 1895 were from Mocambique overprinted “Centenario de S. Antonio Inhambane MCCCCXCV”. From 1910 until 1917 most of the stamps were overprinted “Republica” and after that Inhambane reverted to using stamps of Mocambique.
