Pahang is a state in modern day Malaysia. It was a state of the Federation of Malaya which was incorporated in Malaysia in 1963.
Pahang issued its own stamps from 1889. They were stamps of the Straits Settlements and Perak, overprinted “Pahang”. In 1899, the stamps were from Malaya with Pahang printed on the stamp. From 1948 to 1953, British stamps were used. From 1965, stamps of Malaysia were used.
