Welcome to our next update on the progress of The Richter Family Stamp Collection.
The last album took some time, but eventually we reached Album H.
Like Album G, Album H is also a Stanley Gibbons Philatelic Collector’s Album with pre-printed images of some of the stamps on the pages. H is not quite as large as Album G, with about 1250 stamps from many territories. All the stamps are hinged, whether used or unused.
One of the really exciting parts about sorting these stamps is how we are broadening our general and geographical knowledge. Although many of the territories no longer exist or now have different names, we are gaining knowledge which would not have happened without the stamps. The following is an example of one of the pages of this album, with real stamps as well as images of stamps that can be placed on the page.
